Victorian Lantern Lighted Wood Music Box Kit

Another new item we just had to carry. Intricate and beautiful, two pieces rotate in opposite direction as the music plays, with the option of turning on the light.

Plays "You Light Up My Life" (of course!). Includes 210 laser-cut plywood pieces, music box with winding key, LED light ring with batteries, acrylic cylinder, and all necessary hardware parts and instructions. Finished piece is almost 12" tall (including the folding handle) and 4½" across.

Our sample was assembled in two evenings, in about four hours. Glue is really not needed - we did glue a few pieces, since we have to carry our sample around, but for normal use it isn't necessary. As always you have to pay close attention to the directions as far as waxing parts and part orientation. There is a nifty little ring/note holder that hides in the top, and is held in place by an iris mechanism.
