In 1934, at The St. Regis New York's legendary King Cole Bar, famed bartender Fernand Petiot perfected his recipe for a vodka and tomato juice cocktail, which he called the Bloody Mary. As the name was deemed inappropriate for the hotel's elegant clientele, it was rechristened the Red Snapper. While the name may not have stood the test of time, the beloved Bloody Mary remains the signature cocktail of the St. Regis brand. This book has gorgeous imagery of St. Regis hotels around the world with their versions of the Bloody Mary recipes.
